I )  Free papers – Award session (Laryngology only)

  • Presentation - 8 min. & Question-Answers - 2 min.
  • Deadline for abstract submission - 31st October 2007

      · The abstract should be structured in the following sections and include the
Following information:
· OBJECTIVES: the primary purpose of the article
· METHODS: data sources and study selection
· RESULTS: methods of data synthesis and key findings
· CONCLUSIONS: including potential and research needs
· The abstract text should not exceed 250 words

  • All presentation should be in PowerPoint format (Window 2003)

Abstracts will be approved according to their scientific/clinical merit and should be based onpreviously unpublished data. Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present at the Congress if accepted. Abstract acceptance and programme scheduling will be communicated to the corresponding author’s e-mail address. Authors will be able to draft the abstracts online and may return to the site to edit the texts of the abstracts if necessary. Authors are free to finalize their texts and submit their abstracts at any time before January 19th, 2007. No changes can be made after this deadline.

A highly qualified international panel of reviewers will assess all submitted abstracts, which will be made anonymous in order to avoid bias. For this reason, the names of the reviewers will be held strictly confidential.

Notification of acceptance and information regarding presentations will be forwarded to the authors immediately after the reviewing process.
